Prince George's Community
College is offering 16 online equine study courses, announced Karen Kallish, Program
Coordinator, Workforce Development and Continuing Education department. Click on any of the course titles on this page to see a course description and course outline. Students who register with Prince George's Community College will receive a special certificate upon satisfactory completion of each course. Curriculum is provided by Success Is Easy, the world's leading provider of online equine studies courses. "Whether a first-time horseowner or an equestrian competitior for years, we all want the best for our horses...so it is exciting to be able to offer the latest health care, nutrition and training information while providing one-on-one tutoring with internationally successful horsemen and women," said Kallish. "For those who wish to start a horse business, we recommend taking The Business of Making Money with Horses and Legal Aspects of Horse Management, then add other specialty courses," Kallish said. Students can start at any time as - unlike other continuing education classes - it is the student who sets the start date for their course(s). Work your own pace - there are no completion deadlines. "Success Is Easy" will contact the College once the course is completed and the College will then award the student their certificate of completion. Students may take one course or several at a time," Kallish said. Registration is easy. Just call the Continuing Education departmental reception line at 301-322-0159 or Karen Kallish at 301-322-0873 to get your course reference number. Once you have the number (within 24-48 hours) you will be able to start your class the next business day.
